Word Search

Word Search is the classic puzzle in a daily format. Next to the grid sits a list of words, and the goal is to find every one of them inside the block of letters. Nothing is filled in for you; each word is somewhere in the grid, waiting to be spotted.

What makes it a real search is the direction of the words. They can run horizontally, vertically or diagonally, and they can also run backwards, so a word may read from right to left or from bottom to top. That is the part that tests pattern recognition rather than vocabulary alone.

The game keeps a calendar of puzzles, and the developers suggest coming back every day for a few minutes. That habit is the honest appeal here: a short, steady exercise for attention and spelling, with one grid a day to clear before the next one opens.

Controls

Click or tap the first letter of a word and drag to its last letter.

How to Play

  1. Read the list of words next to the grid.
  2. Scan the letters for the first word, in every direction.
  3. Drag from its first letter to its last to mark it.
  4. Find every word on the list, then open the calendar for more puzzles.

Tips & Tricks

Hunt for unusual letters first. A word with a Q, Z or X is easier to locate from that letter outwards than from a common starting letter that appears all over the grid.
